About SaaSFilter
SaaSFilter is a data-driven comparison platform for SaaS tools. We help businesses find the right software by providing clear, factual comparisons — no marketing fluff, no padded reviews, no paid placements.
What We Do
We compare SaaS tools across every category — CRM, email marketing, web hosting, SEO, project management, accounting, design, and more. Every comparison is built from real product data: pricing pages, feature lists, API documentation, and hands-on testing. We don't rely on vendor marketing materials or third-party summaries.
Our comparisons include side-by-side feature matrices, pricing tables at different team sizes, integration maps, and pros/cons breakdowns. The goal is simple: you should be able to make a software decision in 5 minutes, not 5 hours of research.
How We're Different
- Data-driven: Every comparison is built from verified product specs and pricing — not opinions. We check pricing pages monthly and update data when plans change.
- Always current: SaaS pricing and features change constantly. We update our content regularly and timestamp every page with a "last updated" date. No stale data from 2024.
- No fluff: Our comparisons get straight to the point. Feature matrices, pricing tables, and clear verdicts. You won't find 3,000-word intros about "the importance of choosing the right software."
- No paid placements: We don't accept payment to rank tools higher. Affiliate commissions don't influence our recommendations. If a tool is bad, we say so.
Our Methodology
Every comparison and review follows the same process:
- Data collection: We pull pricing, features, and specs directly from the vendor's website. No third-party data, no outdated caches.
- Hands-on testing: Where possible, we sign up for free trials and test the product ourselves. We check the onboarding flow, feature depth, and UX quality.
- Feature matrix: We build a side-by-side feature comparison so you can see exactly what each tool includes (and what it doesn't).
- Pricing analysis: We calculate real monthly costs at different team sizes — not just the "starts at $X" headline. Add-ons, per-seat costs, and hidden fees all get included.
- Verdict: We give a clear recommendation based on use case — not a single "best overall" rating that ignores context.

Affiliate Disclosure
SaaSFilter earns commissions through affiliate links when readers sign up for tools through our site. This never affects our recommendations. We only recommend tools we'd use ourselves — and we've turned down affiliate programs from tools we don't believe in. If a tool is bad, we say so, affiliate link or not.
Our affiliate relationships include Kit (formerly ConvertKit), ClickFunnels, and other SaaS programs. These commissions keep SaaSFilter free to use — no paywall, no signup, no email gate.
How We Choose What to Compare
We focus on SaaS categories with the highest buyer demand and the most confusing landscape. If there are 15 tools that all seem the same, that's where we add value by cutting through the noise. We prioritise categories where:
- Buyers are overwhelmed by choice (too many similar tools)
- Pricing is opaque or complicated (per-seat, per-contact, tiered)
- Existing comparison content is clearly affiliate-biased
- The category is growing fast (new tools launching regularly)
Who's Behind SaaSFilter
SaaSFilter is run by Braam Kotze, a developer and SaaS buyer who got tired of comparison sites that are just affiliate listicles with no real data. The site started as a personal project to organise SaaS research — and grew into a resource for other buyers facing the same problem.
